Details are scarce at the moment, but Contra Costa Times is reporting that a man was pronounced dead just before 4 p.m. this afternoon after BART police and paramedics responded to reports of a person underneath a train car.

The man's identity has not yet been released and BART police don't know yet how he ended up under the northbound Richmond train. Southbound trains are not stopping at Glen Park station and a BART service advisory says the system is experiencing major delays in both the SFO/Millbrae and East Bay directions.

We will be updating as we know more...
