Late Thursday afternoon, an unidentified manin his 30s was shot and killed just outside the Richmond BART station. The incident occurred at the stairs near the 19th Street and MacDonald Avenue entrance. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
"[O]ne or two men ran away from the station after the victim was shot. Police were working to obtain descriptions of the suspects," reports Oakland Tribune, adding,"Susie Garcia, a Richmond resident who was returning from a prayer gathering for the city's last homicide victim, Lincoln Plair, said she heard three shots at the BART station."
The suspects are still at large.
