Your latest update on citywide knife crime is a tragic one: 34-year-old Scott Nau of San Francisco, who was stabbed near 11th and Mission on January 18, has died. He succumbed to his injuries around 7 p.m. Sunday at S.F. General.
Nau appears to have been robbed as well as well as assaulted and stabbed, and a significant other told the medical examiner's office that he was missing his cell phone and personal items. Hopefully this might lead to a break in the case.

This has now been classified as a homicide, and is the city's 4th of 2013.
