Grandmother Shot, Killed While Walking Into Oakland Store

Ramona Rochelle Foreman, 49. was walking into a store on the 9100 block of International Boulevard in East Oakland on Wednesday when a stray bullet hit her. She died instantly. The bullet, according to the Oakland Tribune, came from form two people across the street having a "gun battle" a little before 7 pm.

"She was a good person. She never did anything to anybody," said Al Roberts, her partner, explained to the Tribune. "I can't believe it's her lying there."

No arrests have been made, because of course not. It's Oakland. Information about yesterday's murder should be directed to the Oakland Police Department at 510-238-3821 or Crime Stoppers at 510-777-8572 or 510-777-3211.
