In downtown burrito-swiping news, a brazen hooligan made off with cash and a burrito at a Sutter Street convenience store (presumably the 7-Eleven as reports say it happened on the 200 block) on Sunday.
According to SF Examiner: "The crook walked into the store in the 200 block of Sutter Street about 12:25 a.m. and grabbed a burrito, police said. The crook, described by police as a man in his 30s, proceeded to the register where he brandished a gun and demanded the cash."
We would have also pinched a couple of boxes of Pizza Rolls and some donuts. (Tip: 7-Eleven has some of the best donuts in town — or, at least they taste that way when you're drunk, which is really the only time we ever stumble into the chain store.) Anyway, the man behind the register wasn't injured. The bad hungry man fled. No arrests have been made.
