Ugh. Yes, we messed up yesterday's food suggestion -- Boxing Room's $1 oyster deal actually starts on August 20! -- but starting today, you can saddle up to the bar at Michael Mina for the Ahi Tuna Tartare with ancho chile, sesame oil, pine nuts, and mint, at a comparatively special price of $10 (regularly $19) from 4 - 6 p.m. in the bar and lounge daily (starting when the lounge opens at 5pm on Saturdays and Sundays).
If the mood should strike, pair the $10 tartare at the bar with something called "On A Whim!," which we're told is a "custom cocktail created by the bartender based on each person’s preferences" ($12), or just hit the "Bartender’s Choice," which is far cheaper for only $7.
