Every later-born Gen Xer out there should remember Mr. Wizard's World, the Nickelodeon show featuring a sometimes curt and grumpy Don Herbert teaching cute kids about the wonders of science. Herbert actually did children's television, using the nickname of Mr. Wizard, for about forty years starting with 1951's Watch Mr. Wizard, so it's kind of understandable that by the mid-80s he was a little sick of the stupid brats. This hilarious montage shows the cracks in Herbert's smiling demeanor as he tells kids they're wrong, a lot, and tortures them with annoying sounds.
For those who were wondering, Mr. Wizard left us in 2007, just shy of his 90th birthday.
