The annual gastronome bash SF Chefs at Union Square (and other venues, but it's really all about the scene under the tent) approaches. In the past years at SF Chefs, we've seen Fleur de Lys' Hubert Keller act as DJ on the decks; Tyler Florence personally cut meat for hungry attendees, local food media types finally coming together to give hugs and praise one another's work and creativity (ha!), white-hot bartenders; Boccalone and Incanto's Chris Constantino give personal lessons on pork; shaved foie gras (RIP), and even offerings from Michelin three-star house of worship French Laundry. This year's festivities promise to be even bigger, grander, tipsier.

But before we get to the names under the tend, there will also be several demos and parties, including San Francisco Chronicle restaurant critic, Michael Bauer, who will appear in conversation with restaurateur Drew Nieporent; a blind tasting with some of the top SF sommeliers; a celebration of contemporary Mexican restaurants hosted by Traci Des Jardins; a pork party at EPIC Roasthouse; and of course, loads of after-parties.

The action under the tent is divided into four part, with a slew samplings from noted chefs and restaurants each night. They are:
