MUSIC I: "The West Coast's Greatest Black Sabbath Cover Band" — and most quirkily-named, we might add, Bobb Saggeth, perform a special 4th of July show, featuring two sets of classic Ozzy-era Sabbeth. Also featuring guests Prizehog. (9 p.m., Elbo Room, 647 Valencia Street)
FIREWORKS: Hopefully the fog will spare us for the big fireworks show tonight. Aquatic Park is the place to be, but, as Flavorpill notes, other good viewing locations are all along the waterfront, Coit Tower, Aquatic Park, the Cannery, and Ghirardelli Square. The Pier will also play host to live entertainment all afternoon and following the fireworks show. (9:30 p.m., Pier 39, 2 Beach Street)
MUSIC II: Cafe Du Nord presents a Red,White & Murdergrass: A Special Holiday Matinee Show, featuring The Pine Box Boys, who sing about the "lonely ladies of the American Murder Ballad. Buried in unmarked graves, their ghosts have been called out to in song for more than two centuries," and Colonel Jimmy & the Blackfish, who play a combination of "hellbilly, countrygrass, outlaw country, country punk." (6 p.m., Cafe Du Nord, 2170 Market Street)
