Earlier today we reported on the various updates, both official and unofficial, regarding Friday's gruesome Howth Street murders. Today the medical examiner has officially identified the victims, and makes it official that the Lei family and one additional female were killed.

They were Hua Shun Lei, 65, and Wan Yi Wu, 62 — parents whose adult children lived at home. The children, Vincent Lei, 32, and Ying Xue "Jess" Lei, 37, were also killed along with a woman who was not related to the family, but who is believed to have been Vincent Lei's girlfriend, Chia Huei Chu, 30.

The prime suspect in the case is 35-year-old Binh Thai Luc, a man who authorities say may have "prior ties" to a Vietnamese street gang, and may have been trying to avenge a gambling debt.
