The crime-ridden state of Oakland continues unabated after two more shootings rocked the East Bay town overnight. First, a man walking on the 1300 block of Campbell Street in West Oakland "heard a gunshot and found he was injured in the leg." He was whisked to a nearby hospital. His condition is "unknown."

Later, at around 10:30 p.m., a woman showed up at Children's Hospital Oakland with a gunshot wound to the back of the head. "She told police that she had been a passenger in a car when someone opened fire, in the 5600 block of Dover Street in North Oakland."

No arrests have been made.
