The Bay Area's continuing sanctification of chefs (what in heaven's name do you think Violet Crawley, Dowager Countess of Grantham would say regarding this trend of placing cooks on such high pedestals?) goes further with the Commonwealth Club's upcoming "Meet 'n Eat with SF's Hottest Young Chef" at Bar Agricole.

Two things will happen: On February 16th, the Commonwealth Club will host a panel discussion featuring noted chefs Brandon Jew of Bar Agricole, Brett Cooper of Outlerlands, Michael Gaines of Flour + Water and Central Kitchen, Evan Rich of Coi, and pastry legend William Werner at the the Commonwealth Club Office. You will hear all about their takes on "innovative culinary techniques as well as reflections on the Bay's love of food."

But wait, there's more...

Then, on February 20th, they'l take over Bar Agricole for a remarkable 5-course pre fixe dinner, with one course from each of the five aforementioned culinary geniues from the panel discussion on the 16th. Bar Agricole will be opening up their kitchen exclusively for the Feb,. 20th event, so seats are very limited. Ticket prices include admission to the panel event on February 16th, but do not include gratuity.
