The body of 68-year-old Robert Slivoski was found near the intersection of Polk Street and Pacific Avenue in Russian Hill early last Thursday morning. SFPD officers responding to reports of a deceased person in the area arrived to find the body was already decomposing. Although the medical examiner's office had not yet determined the cause and time of death as of this morning, SFPD has ruled the case a homicide.
At the moment, no arrests have been made in the case, which is the city's 49th this year, but anyone with any information about the death of Robert Slivoski is encourage to call SFPD's anonymous tip line at (415) 575-4444 or text a tip to TIP411.
