Set to ruin your Thanksgiving cheer (is that a thing? it should really be thing), the Denny's on Mission Street erected a Christmas tree... on November 8th. Premature, yes? yes. Esteemed Inside Scoop editor Paolo Lucchesi found the early bird XMas tree and asked if "it’s supposed to go with the Christmas Cookie Pancakes for Kids, now on the Denny’s menu."
On the other end of the retail holiday spectrum, Nordstrom took a strong stance against early holiday cheer when they posted the following notice to customers back in 2009.
Perhaps Denny's should take Nordstrom's lead?
