A lady who likes to be called The Dutchess, whose real name is Chris Walton, has just overtaken the Guinness world record for the lady with the longest fingernails. The Dutchess has been growing her nails since, she says, 1990 or 1991, which means those ridiculous talons are now older than Justin Bieber. And they aren't just the nasty, gnarled and twisted things you're used to seeing in Guinness/freakshow photos of yore; Walton has them all painted gold! And they have pretty designs on them, which take several hours to apply, as she discusses in the video below.

Also, you can see how she manages to iron and eat melon with those things on her fingers. We have no clue how she can still "braid hair" however.
