The bodies of two as-yet-unidentified victims were found dead Saturday night/early Sunday on the 3100 block of Coolidge Avenue in Oakland, in burning second-floor apartment above an acupuncture clinic. Investigators are now saying the victims were assaulted prior to the fire -- and possibly killed before the blaze was set. Witnesses report seeing someone flee the building carrying gas cans or incendiary devices.
