Mission / Shooting: At around 12:30am this morning, a 22 year old man was shot in the Mission District as he was leaving his work. The attack took place near 19th St. and San Carlos, and the police’s gang task force are investigating the incident. The victim is currently in serious condition, and he's believed to be an employee of Hog & Rocks restaurant. The suspects are believed to be two men in their mid-20s. They were last seen running toward Valencia street in dark clothes shortly after the attack. Any leads or witness accounts should be directed to the San Francisco police. [KTVU]

Richmond / Shootings: Two Richmond shootings injured three victims Monday night, and police are threating them as related cases. Police were called to a gas station where there had been reports of gunfire. Two victims were found with gunshot wounds at a motel near the gas station, where allegedly their white SUV had crashed into a natural gas line as they tried to avoid more gunfire. Both victims are expected to survive.

Minutes later, police responded to a call from the eastbound Interstate 80 where a car was found pulled over onto the shoulder. Police discovered a woman inside the vehicle had been shot multiple times. The woman was allegedly attacked when a car that cut her off pulled alongside her vehicle and shot her several times. The woman is also expected to survive. Police are currently looking for a small black car, thought to be the vehicle used in both of the shootings. [Contra Costa Times]
