San Francisco's beloved hula school, Nā Lei Hulu I Ka Wēkiu, who captivated hundreds of locals a couple of years back during their Hit and Run Hula flash mob throughout the city, including the Apple store, were at it again earlier this month. They took to the skies via a Hawaiian Airlines flight from SF to Honolulu and surprised their fellow passengers mid-flight.
The troupe performed to a couple of different songs, the traditional Hawaiian tune, "Ke Aloh," and Tony Bennett's "I Left My Heart in San Francisco." Most of the passengers were still asleep or not sure what was happening during the first song, but once Tony Bennett came on, they started enjoying and filming the performance, which was met with huge applause.
