  • The Giants swept their doubleheader in Chicago yesterday: In the early game, Ryan Vogelsong allowed a season-high six runs but he was propped up by 13 runs from offense. Barry Zito gets more credit in the night game though — on his first start off the DL since April, Zito threw for seven innings, allowed two runs and gets the 6-3 win.
