This is probably one of the sweetest things we've seen in our lives. On the morning after a euphoric night of celebrating the New York State Senate's decision to legalize same-sex marriage, contributor Garth Johnston penned a lovely proposal to his boyfriend of five and a half years, Woody Loverude, on Gothamist:
When I went out the night of November 22, 2005, I don't know what I was looking for, but it wasn't the love of my life. And yet here we are. The next morning I sent myself an e-mail, the entire body of which read: "His name is Woody Loverude."
