U.S.-born citizen and President of the United States, Barack Obama, will be in San Francisco on 4/20. If you'd like to see him speak live at his campaign kickoff, and donate to his reelection campaign, you can catch him at the Nob Hill Masonic Center on Wednesday for a scant $25. Hopefully -- get it, hopefully? -- he'll talk about fulfilling some of the promises he flaked on during his first few years in the Oval Office. Expect a speech by a charismatic Obama, tunes by DJ Hope, and a performance by Goapele. More details. Nob Hill Masonic Center, 1111 California (at Taylor)
Obama also announced, via YouTube, a town hall meeting he will host at the Facebook San Francisco offices on Wednesday at 1:45 p.m.
Update: Aaaaand they're all sold out. Sorry, folks. Cheapest tickets available are now set at $250. Alas.
Update II: Okay. So, it looks like there are, in fact, more $25 Obama tickets available. For a bit, the $25 option was pulled from the site, but it's back on, with a few SFist commenters being able to purchase said tickets. So... our apologies for the confusion. Have at it, folks!
