In addition to getting that emergency preparedness kit ready and checking out SFist's ongoing Tsunami coverage, here's some other stuff to do this weekend. Also, it's Spring Forward on Sunday. Hooray!
2011 St. Patrick's Day Parade and Festival: Yet another excuse for amateur and career drunks to collectively imbibe. The parade starts at Second and Market and ends at Civic Center for a festival celebrating Irish music, dancing, and art. But the real question is, where's the green beer? (Answer: Head a few blocks up to Harry Harrington's Pub. We assume they have green beer.)
SFIAAFF Festival Forum: The Stellar SF International Asian American Film Festival presents its annual all-day event showcasing live music, dance, spoken word and other performances. This year includes an indie game-makers exhibit and a Bollywood Under the Stars screening of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, along with music performances by Scrabbel, The Hola Sisters, Soft Knife, and Maikaze Daiko, and performances by Halau 'O Keikiali'i hula, hip hop dance crew, Illest Villians, and the slam poets of Youth Speaks.
World Naked Bike Ride: It must be quite chafing liberating to ride a bike through town in your birthday suit. World Naked Bike Ride is likely yet another event in which you end up seeing more people that you would rather not see naked than those you would. Also, the point of the ride is to protest our dependence on fossil fuel.
