Traci Des Jardins - noted chef/owner of Hayes Valley's Jardinière; AT&T Park's Public House & Mijita; and Lake Tahoe's Manzanita -
will appear on the next season of Top Chef Masters, Bravo's successful spin off of Top Chef.
Des Jardins will compete alongside Hugh Acheson (Five & Ten, The National, Gosford Wine in Athens, GA), Floyd Cardoz (Former Executive Chef/Partner- of Tabla and soon-to-be Executive Chef/Partner of a new Danny Meyer restaurant), John Currence (Oxford, MS), George Mendes (NYC), Mary Sue Milliken (Los Angeles), Naomi Pomeroy (Portland, OR), Suvir Saran (NYC), John Rivera Sedlar (Los Angeles), Alex Stratta (Las Vegas), Celina Tio (Kansas City, MO), and Sue Zemanick (New Orleans, LA).
She will compete for San Francisco's La Cocina. Top Chef Masters will premiere on April 6.
In other Traci-related news, she will also co-host this year's James Beard Awards on May 9.
