Speaking of Muni horrors, a train derailment outside the Castro Station stopped all outbound service this morning and slowed inbound service. This incident happened around 7:35 a.m.

According to KTVU, "Bus shuttles took riders between the Van Ness and West Portal stations on the affected lines, which include the K, L, and M lines."

No word yet on just how the train derailed. No injures were reported.

Service should remain sluggish throughout the morning commute. Expect crowded trains and widespread grimacing. Sorry, folks.
