Last Thursday morning, two men in hoodies and baseball caps made an attempt to pose as police officers in order to rob a man in his driveway on Brunswick Street in the Outer Mission. According to SFWeekly, the man had just returned from dropping his daughter off at school when the two men approached him in his driveway, presented gold stars that looked like BART police badges and demanded the man, "give up the drugs."

When the poor guy explained he had no idea what they were talking about, the not-cops tried to handcuff him but weren't quite bright enough to figure out how to work the shackles. Instead, they rifled through the man's trunk, but since there were no drugs to be found in the vehicle the two men fled the scene before the real police could show up.
