MUSIC: sfSound's San Francisco Tape Music Collective kicks off the trippie-sounding San Francisco Tape Music Festival 2011, featuring three nights of classic audio art and new fixed media compositions. Twenty local and international composers will "shape" the sound live over a pristine surround system consisting of 16+ speakers while the audience is seated in complete darkness.

ART: San Francisco-based artist Paul Urich's new collection of ink drawings and gouache paintings, Take Me To Paradise, is inspired by tattoo "old timers" and prison based artists, featuring some designs directly copied from the other artists, some altered, and some of the artist's own designs.
