Today in techie news: Facebook's secret product, known as Project Titan and blogged about since February, is launching Monday with a big special event at the St. Regis. There were hints that came the event invite involving the word "inbox," as TechCrunch reports, and basically yeah, it should be a fully functioning webmail product with the ability to have your very own @facebook.com address. Plus, there should be some added sorting functionality. Per TechCrunch: "Facebook knows who your friends are and how closely you’re connected to them; it can probably do a pretty good job figuring out which personal emails you want to read most and prioritize them accordingly."

And further, over the geek wires, we hear that Apple has integrated Twitter into its new Ping product, which Steve Jobs earlier described as "like Facebook and Twitter meet iTunes." The trouble was, Jobs couldn't strike a decent deal with Facebook, but now people can link their Ping accounts to Twitter and their Ping activities, such as liking, buying or reviewing a song, can be blasted out to their Twitter followers.
