So, somebody launched a missile on Monday night, pretty damn close to Los Angeles, and neither the Defense Department or the Pentagon is saying what the hell it was about. The Navy and the Air Force both say they didn't touch a button or launch a thing. NORAD says, "We simply do not have a definitive answer at this time," whatever that means.

The Pentagon says, "We are going down the rabbit hole to look at every possibility... from amateur rockets, thought that would have been a big one... to optical illusion." Yes, some experts are going to try to convince us these were jet plane contrails, and that fiery ball at the front of it was just our imagination.

We're just going to put our lefty San Francisco conspiracy-paranoiac cap on and say that this was some black ops shit and somehow they didn't realize, with the time change or whatever, that it was going to be so totally visible in daylight and show up on the internet within minutes. Anyhow, fun, right? We can't wait for what comes next.
