Oh geez.

According to the Daily Cal, "District 4 Councilmember Jesse Arreguin's chief of staff, Anthony Sanchez, has been accused of assaulting former District 4 candidate Eric Panzer, who sustained a minor injury when Sanchez allegedly tore a campaign sign from his hand at Sunday's Spice of Life Festival in the Gourmet Ghetto."

Spicy indeed. But wait, it gets better.

It seems Sanchez approached Panzer, who was apparently "picketing" Arreguin's booth, before the two exchanged heated words. During the battle of wits, Sanchez allegedly and forcibly "took a sign supporting Measure R from Panzer, causing him to bleed from his hand."

"I had a wound on my hand that was healing," Panzer bemoaned. "Wrenching the sign from my hand caused that to open."
