In honor of the S.F. Giants clinching the NL West title and making the playoffs, San Francisco City Hall will be lit orange for however long they make it -- i.e., all the way to the World Series. How much will this cost, you ask? Well, according to The Chronicle: "Total cost for the display is about $4,000 (coming from the city's privately funded special events account) to pay for orange gels and the labor to put them over the lights."
