A small sailboat was involved in an accident near the Cliff House yesterday afternoon, in which there were at least two deaths, and a third person is reportedly missing.

The Coast Guard was first notified about the incident by employees at the Cliff House, who said the boat had appeared to be in distress. The Coast Guard saw a man and a woman in the water when they arrived on the scene. The woman's body was recovered last night, and the man's was found this morning.

Witnesses reported seeing three people involved, but the Coast Guard doesn't plan to continue looking. The boat was found and is registered to someone in Contra Costa County.
