Bay Area Reporter confirms that Backstreet Boys, one-time boy band phenoms famous for wanting it that way, will perform at this year's SF Pride Party on June 27 at Civic Center. Already scheduled to croon at two concerts at the Warfield during the same week , BSB will make a pit stop for the gays.
Other performers scheduled to delight the crowd at this year's Pride? Rose Royce (famous for singing "Car Wash"), Martha Davis and the Motels (!), and Andy Bell from Erasure. The main stage will also feature lesser-known acts like Dangerous Muse, Hello Hollywood, and Hunter Valentine. (Lady Gaga, if you recall, performed at Pride back in 2008, and just look where she is now. All famous and stuff.)
