Armed with a Stinger cocktail and a Friday night alone, Valleywag editor Ryan Tate emailed Apple czar Steve Jobs with a question about the iPad. (Jobs responds to public emails, by the way, so have at it.) Tate writes "An iPad advertisement ticked me off; I sent the Apple CEO an angry email; he told me about 'freedom from porn.'"
Yes, Steve Jobs, among other more pressing tech issues, is rabidly anti-porn. And, well, that's just frightening. Yes, it is. Jobs is proud of the iPad being relatively porn-free (at least compared to other systems), and he isn't ashamed of it. You don't like it? You don't have to buy it, Jobs snits.
The Apple CEO goes on to chastise Tate, saying "You might care more about porn once you have kids." Which: vomit. (As one VW commenter pointed out, "Jobs falls for the ol' American misconception that 'nudity is worse than violence for a kid's development'." And how.)
