Foundry Square and Piers 1½, 3, and 5 are among 17 finalists on the short list for an award from the Urban Land Institute. The 74-year-old institute gives these excellence awards in order to "recognize the full development process of a project, not just its architecture or design... The criteria for the awards include leadership, contribution to the community, innovations, public/private partnership, environmental protection and enhancement, response to societal needs, and financial viability.” [Examiner]
