ART: Software engineer and art Tim Thompson's newest work, "Captured Accidents: Valencia Street Live," uses a security camera rigged to a video game controller, software, and a laptop. The camera/game controller then captures, loops, and processes digital video images happening outside on Valencia Street. Pretty and pretty unique patterns, overlays, color shifts, and layers of "visual remixes" are then processed by the game controller and software. Live interactive video performance and reception starts tonight.
