KARAOKE: Bay Area Derby Girls are having a benefit -- a karaoke singing benefit, that it. It's called "B.A.D. Girl's Greatest Hits Karaoke Fundraiser." And, according to those rough and tumble gals, it works like this: "1) Someone makes a donation to get on the list to sing. 2) When it is their turn we announce the donation amount and tell everyone that they need to match that amount to stop the singer. 3) If we get a stop request I pause the song and ask who will match the stop request donation to keep the song going. 4) If someone donates I continue the song and the singer continues from where s/he left off. 5) Repeat 3 & 4 as many times as we can. 6) If the person was stop we tell everyone how much they raised and get everyone to cheer. 7) People can only sign up for one song at a time, but if they want to cut the line they can do so for $40- plus whatever they want the stop request to be."
