American Family Association Auto-Replace Follies

For reasons we still cannot understand, the American Family Association's OneNewsNow site started replacing the word "gay" with the word "homosexual" in any Associated Press story they run. (?) And while the internet has picked up on the sheer hilarity over the AFA's recent article about track and field athlete "Tyson Gay" incorrectly turning faggy (which has since been corrected), the funniest thing about this auto-replace comedy bit is that they're replacing one word with another word that means exactly the same thing. It's a filter that accomplishes absolutely nothing, like changing "flip-flop" to "sandal," or "Muslim" to "Mohammedan," or "fatso" to "ham beast." Good job, AFA.
