At first it sounded like CBS5 reporter Ken Bastida was reporting on the brutal murder of one of SFist's very favorite news anchor, the leggy and wildly fun Dana King. But he wasn't. It was someone else. Isn't that HILARIOUS?! But we wonder what behind-the-scene politics might have led to this on-air Freudian slip? By all means, feel free to speculate.

Oh, and this also brings up something we've been meaning to ask you: Now that Dennis Richmond is no more, who is your favorite local news anchor? And who would you like to see murdered, set on fire?
