Remember dragon-loving, African-American hating Asianweek columnist Kenneth Eng, and the stir he set off a few weeks ago? Well, after national embarrassment, red-faced apologies, and the now-obligatory pro-tolerance panel attendance by its staff and board, Asianweek finally announced that it's taken action, and quietly demoted Samson Wong, the editor who allowed Eng's piece to run in the first place. (We know, we know, it's old news -- but we were on vacation and just heard about it now is our excuse for running it relatively late.)
