Well, this sounds like fun! A reader who went to yesterday's live taping of the NPR news game show "Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me" writes in to report that the game show's "special guest" of the day was none other than our favorite newspaper editor, Phil Bronstein!

Many of the topics were centered around San Francisco: Gavin's boozing and sexcapades, and the Armory's new porn studio. It was hysterical.

The ChronBlogs did a little research into this, and report that Bronstein's been a subject of inquiry on the show before: namely, as the discussion topic, "What will Phil Bronstein get next Father's Day?"

We might just have to tune into this one -- it airs tomorrow at 11 a.m., or if, like us, you're going to Fake Question Time then, you can download the podcast after it airs too.

Wait, Wait is taping another episode tonight in Berkeley, and it's going to be about history rather than current events, but tickets are all sold out, alas.
