Pat Murphy of the Sentinel was also there with the color commentary, reporting that Daly went into the splash with his wife Sarah, for a bid of $18,500. In reading Pat's article, it sounds like Sarah ponied up the winning bid, but in Drew's pictures, it looks like the Dalys are smiling with some other folks post-dive, which makes us think the other (dry) people might have put up the cash. (We also originally thought one of those people was Alex from the Usual Suspects but now we think it's someone else entirely.)

Pat also speculates for some time about how he'd like to see some District 6 "caboose," and starts the bidding at $100 for Matt Drake's heinie. We're going to have to politely decline that offer, Pat!
