Unlike last year when the War-bags started 3-20 away from home, they came out hot this year, posting a 6-3 road record through the first month and a half of the season. Granted, these wins came against relatively substandard teams, but in professional sports, a road win is a road win is a road win. However, since bouncing the Toronto Ruptures on December 16, the War-cribs have dropped four straight road games, including going 1-4 on their recently concluded five-game East Coast swing. While their overall road record is still a relatively decent 6-7, better than the LA Strippers, Miami Humidity, and Philadelphia 76ers, basketball is a game of streaks, and right now the War-flags are pulling a Frank the Tank.
