Horrid. There are nearly no positives that can be taken from the 17 - 52 whuppin’ that Washington's football club put on our San Francisco 49ers in Week 07. Washington's squad simply cut through the SF personnel at will in all planes of play. And then did . Ugh. It hurt to watch.

Though it was noted previously that this was likely to be a non-winnable game, the whole point of a season such as this current one for San Francisco is to give the young players experience so's to prepare them for winning in the future. The Niners are pushing off the bottom of the pool, there's no direction to go but up. So, let's go up.

Yet, Coach Nolan is not giving many snaps to our newly-drafted offensive line players. Bless him, Jeremy Newberry is out there at center each week with no cartilage in his knees because he loves the game and his team. But need he be out there playing in a season such as this?
