Obviously, the "at" where it "is", is 7th Annual San Francisco Independent Film Festival. You knew that already, didn't you? However, what if that screening of you had your heart set on is sold out, and you're still jonesing for a movie?
If you do happen to find yourself in that position, head across town to the Balboa to see Infernal Affairs. Yeah, it's been out on DVD for a while, but that's no comparison to seeing SFist's boyfriend Andy Lau shootin' guns on the big screen. This movie about a cop pretending to be a gangster and a gangster pretending to be a cop is rumored to be slated for an English-language remake with Matt Damon and Leonardo DiCaprio, so run and see it before the Americans screw it up.
Oh, and look! Another of our boyfriends, Christian Bale, appears in The Machinist opening tonight at The Red Vic. You might remember The Machinist as the movie where Christian Bale gets really, really, really thin, but we're hoping there's more to this creppy conspiracy-thriller than diet tips.
We know many of you have big movie plans this weekend - so share them in the comments!
