True San Francisco hipsters and locals with the finest taste in indie rock will convene for a Tiny Telebration this Friday at Café du Nord and the Swedish American Hall.  What’s a Tiny Telebration, you ask?  It’s a party that San Francisco's unofficial musical mascot John Vanderslice is throwing to celebrate Tiny Telephone's 7th anniversary.  Vanderslice opened the mostly analog recording studio back in 1997, and has since contributed to the indie rock canon by providing audiophile quality gear to record Death Cab For Cutie, Mates of State, Spoon, and so many more.

Tickets are $12 for the Swedish American Hall show, featuring headliner and Spoon front-man Britt Daniel with openers Two Gallants and Nedelle.  10 bucks gets you in to Café du Nord to see Alaska, Robbers on High Street and Monolith before a closing set by Vanderslice himself.  How to choose?  You don’t have to.  Try the value pack option of a joint ticket for $18, and pray along with SFist that Vanderslice and Daniel don’t play their sets simultaneously.  We need just enough time to sprint up or down the stairs that separate the two clubs.  Join us at the Cafe du Nord Happy Hour from 6-8pm for the pre-show warm-up.

Ed. Note: And our pleading pays off yet again, with new SFist Krissy bringing news of the music scene.
