This is the part of SFist where we talk about movies that are opening this weekend, but we're just so thrilled we can barely type since this weekend sees the opening of Alien Vs. Predator! At last we'll figure out how it could possibly make sense to have Lance Henriksen in this movie. Let's see where we can see this. Maybe it'll be playing in the Kabuki disco-ball theater?

Everybody's favorite second run theater The Balboa is showing the Buurne Supremacy and The Clearing. That sounds like a lot of white-male angst to us, but, hey, it's a super-cheap(7 bucks in the evenings) double feature, so how bad can it be?

The Castro is showing La Dolce Vita Friday night, which sounds like a great time. And The Castro has real butter on their popcorn - what more could you want?

Friday night at the Roxie brings us the opening of Tom Dowd and the Language of Music

And if that's not something for everybody, SFist doesn't know what is.
