A truck full of live eels being shipped to Korea "for consumption" flipped on Highway 101 in Oregon, spilling eels all over everything everywhere.

According to ABC7, a flatbed truck carrying live 'slime eels' — a.k.a. hagfish — was involved in a rollover crash at milepost 131 between Otter Rock and Depoe Bay. The very-much-alive eels left a trail of slime all over 101 and the unfortunate cars that happened to be within the vicinity of the horror.

The Oregon Coast Aquarium calls the hagfish "the creepiest creature in the aquarium" and here is why:

The eels are not actually eels, but fish. The OCA explains their grossness thusly:

This creature’s primary defense mechanism is to emit a protein that makes the surrounding water turn into a gelatinous slime. They then tie themselves into a knot, sliding the slime off their scaleless skin in the process, making them difficult to capture. Hagfish are so adept at producing this reaction that researchers have observed potential predators dying of suffocation while trapped in their slime.

It looks like all of the hagfish were killed in the crash and swept to the side of the road with hoses and bulldozers.

In this clip, a fight breaks out between both human-garbage A's and Giants fans after an A's fan apparently touches/pours beer on female Giants fan. This besmirching of a dame then prompted one of the male Giants fans in the now wet girl's group to respond with fighting words, which then prompted this unfortunate and all-too-common physical melee. Who's side are we on? The side that isn't going shirtless at a baseball game. So tacky.

This fight comes on the heels of Giants fan Bryan Stow getting attacked at a Dodgers game, and a fight inside Candlestick Park during a 2011 Niners-Raiders game that spilled into the parking lot and resulted in two people getting shot. Play nice, people.

Larry Brinkin, a local gay rights advocate, was busted on child porn charges Friday. According to reports, the man was an "icon" of sorts within the LGBT community; however, this is the first we're hearing of his name. Brinkin, 66, who worked for the San Francisco Human Rights Commission up until 2010, was arrested on Friday night for child porn attached to his AOL account. The Chronicle notes: "Police say that Brinkin had pornographic images, some that appear to show children as young as 1 and 2 or 3 years old being sodomized and performing oral sex on adult men, in e-mail attachments linked to his account."

The AOL account in question, Zack3737@aol.com, penned some horrific commentary attached to inexcusable child-rape imagery, allege authorities. One particularly depressing comment, as reported by SF Weekly, reads, "I loved especially the nigger 2 year old getting nailed. Hope you'll continue so I can see what the little blond bitch is going to get. White Power! White Supremacy! White Dick Rules!" And with that, we cannot help but loathe humanity just a touch more today. Anyway, SFPD says that the AOL address is linked to Brinkin's IP address to which "he is owner of the account and paid for AOL service with his credit card."

As for his advocacy work, the Board of Supervisors approved a resolution proclaiming the week of Feb. 1, 2010, "Larry Brinkin Week" in San Francisco, noting that his "dedication to advance the civil rights of all people has never stopped." Former Supervisor Bevan Dufty who, as the Chronicle goes on to point out, authored the board resolution, responded to Brinkin's arrest thusly, "I have admired and respected his work for the LGBT community...I respect and am confident that there will be due process."
