Early Sunday morning at 12:30 a.m. near the The Embarcadero and Broadway, police found a man in his 30s suffering from "multiple stab wounds all over his body." According to Bay City News (via SF Appeal), "the man had been riding his bike when he was approached by three male suspects who then punched and stabbed him apparently out of the blue."

The attacked, it seems, was unprovoked. "They just confronted him and began to punch and stab him multiple times," SFPD officer Albie Esparza explained.

The victim was rushed to San Francisco General Hospital in serious condition. He is expected to survive. The suspects, who are still at large, swiped neither his bicycle nor his belongings.
