Michelin three-star San Francisco chef Dominique Crenn is in love, and she has proposed to girlfriend Maria Bello — the actress best known for films like Coyote Ugly, The World Trade Center, and The Cooler.
Eater caught the Insta post, which is already a few days old. And Crenn writes, "How beautiful and powerful when love comes your way. She said oui!!!! Lucky me."
As Eater notes, Bello has been open about her romances with both genders ever since a 2013 Modern Love column in the New York Times. And it's not clear how long this pair has been together, but Crenn posted an adorable video of them dancing about a month ago.
Crenn's latest project, Boutique Crenn at Salesforce Tower, just opened in December, and it's a pop-up kitchen/cafe of sorts that operates just outside the building itself, next to Salesforce Transit Center.
Crenn's restaurant group also operates three other restaurants in SF: the Michelin three-star Atelier Crenn, the next-door Bar Crenn, and Petit Crenn in Hayes Valley. In November, Crenn announced that all of her restaurants would be becoming pescatarian, in an effort to decrease their environmental footprint.
