A man was found shot in the Tenderloin Monday evening and he was later pronounced dead at the hospital.

The shooting occurred near the intersection of Larkin Street and Golden Gate Avenue at around 11:10 p.m. Monday, and police were quickly at the scene, as ABC 7 reports.

As the Mercury News notes, the victim has not yet been identified, and all that we know is that the victim was male.

This fatal shooting follows on another that occurred nearby near the intersection of Market and Jones Streets a week ago, on October 14. The victim in that shooting was identified as 27-year-old D’Quan Domino.

This latest apparent homicide brings San Francisco's 2019 homicide count to 31.
